Currently, I am writing two POKER books that I expect to go to the publisher in mid to late January 2011.
This is a labor of love as I enjoy playing poker, especially No Limit Holdem; I only play NLH tournaments, never cash games. I have attended the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in the past and enjoyed a little success. I was asked by a few friends to write about those experiences and how to help the "regular poker player" to increase their skills and knowledge, ergo, my current two books.
The first book is strickly a tournament No Limit Holdem book jam-packed with everything that you need to know in order to give yourself the best opportunity to win NLH tournaments! I will post more on this book soon.
POKER GAMES is the title of my second poker book; it simply discusses many different poker games, including the 3s and 9s are wild - BASEBALL and other fun games for the avid but amatuer poker player, like myself. Additionally, I discuss family games that were so much fun to play as I grew up in Sioux City, Iowa. Those long winter nights are perfect for family and friends to gather around the table, play, laugh and just be together. Maybe the kids can put down the video games once a week so that we can make a few new family memories.
Lastly, POKER GAMES will present our time-tested poker league system to help you organise a weekly game that ends with a freeroll Tournament of Champions! This system has been fine-tuned over eight seasons, so it will be smooth sailing for your league!
